Amy is a coach. Literally. She coaches individual runners, Roadrunners of Kansas City run club members, and, as a Garmin Coach, she virtually coaches runners around the world.
When naming CoachAmyPT, nothing made more sense than to incorporate “coach” into the name. Because coaching extends beyond working with athletes.
Coaches guide. Teach. Train. Motivate. Coaches help people improve.
As a physical therapist, Coach Amy coaches all of her patients. Coach Amy teaches you why your treatment plan helps and how to continue to improve and prevent future issues.
And no one motivates with support, enthusiasm, and positivity more than Coach Amy.
So why “Coach” Amy? Because, at the core, that’s who Amy is.
A healer who teaches and inspires. A coach.

Amy’s STORY
Amy established CoachAmyPT to deliver patient care according to her vision of customized, holistic treatment plans and one-on-one care.
Amy knows firsthand the frustration and heartbreak of needing to take a break from a beloved sport due to injury. She credits the power of physical therapy with helping her bounce back from running injuries, set personal records and place in her age division in triathlon, road and trail racing.
Since she was a young girl, Amy has been called to help others, whether they are training for a marathon, seeking ways to maintain strength while aging or recovering from surgery.
Outside of endurance sports training, Amy loves spending time with her family, reading and playing with her dog, Levi, who occasionally needs physical therapy, too!
